Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

We accept no less than the common good for all. It is our responsibility and our future.

Speak out against racial injustice, confront conscious and unconscious bias, and lead courageous conversations to make a meaningful impact on ongoing diversity, inclusion, and the right to live in a just, safe world.

What “Team” Means to Ora

Within Ora, the word team carries great weight. Our team comprises individuals who build and foster a mutually supportive unit. We don’t all look the same or share similar experiences, but we respect, trust, and care about one another. We celebrate each other’s successes. Gains for one are gains for all.

Team Ora embraces People of Color, individuals with disabilities, the LGBTQIA+ community, veterans, individuals of all ages and education levels, people from all walks of life and parts of the world, followers of any religion, and individuals who define “family” in any number of ways.

Ora’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Actions

  1. Put our unique skills and resources to work for those impacted by inequity
Ora has the depth and flexibility to convert ideas into action quickly. For example, we employ the
latest tools and technology. We have experts and doctors within our company and wider sphere.
We possess resources to support company- and employee-led diversity and inclusion efforts.
With these and other strengths at our disposal, our existing activities and exciting new programs
will accelerate change and improve equity.
  2. Expand outreach & improve metrics for greater diversity and parity

We redoubled our focus on fairness and equity in 2019, before vital conversations about justice
gained visibility worldwide in 2020. After launching in-house and third-party analyses of diversity,
inclusion, and parity metrics, Ora introduced or improved processes, policies, and partnerships to
address weaknesses and reinforce strengths. We will continue to build upon our work.
  3. Highlight and enhance employee support resources
All Ora employees and their families have confidential access to a multitude of personal and
professional support resources, including those addressing concerns or stressors unique to
minority populations. These tools are free, relevant, and available in numerous formats.
Employees also have a fully confidential support hotline at their disposal, staffed by experts 24
hours a day, to address matters of any scope.

Standing Together

Equity, diversity, and inclusion are ongoing commitments. Ora stands united and eager to be part of the solution to improving the world in which we all live. Our activities supporting this goal align with Ora’s “Commitment to a Healthy & Constructive Work Environment” outlined in the Code of Conduct that all employees sign upon joining Ora, as well as the Equal Employment Opportunity statement that we proudly endorse.

There is much more detail behind the high-level summary above. If you’d like to learn more about how we live our promise, please feel free to send any questions, concerns, or suggestions to DiversityEquityInclusion@oraclinical.com.

Ora has the focus and influence to create impact. We are small enough to make changes quickly. We are human enough to give a voice to employees who may not be heard elsewhere. We have dedicated our time, talents, and financial resources to diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts and are expanding upon those efforts. This is not a singular project. It’s a long-term promise.

We aren’t perfect, but Team Ora strives to improve ourselves each day. We are proceeding with openness and humility.
