Jeanne Taylor Hecht is a global Business Executive and Board Member with deep experience leading successful teams across mature and emerging markets within the product development, pharma services and life sciences space.
As Chief Strategy Officer Jeanne has P&L responsibility for Ora’s business including all commercial operations as well as the strategically and operationally important components of Ora’s business (e.g. European Operations, Site and Patient Networks, monitoring, clinical information systems, and patient recruitment). Jeanne is also responsible for the strategic positioning and implementation of key elements of Ora’s strategy which include introducing new lines of businesses. Jeanne was a member of the board of directors for Ora, Inc. prior to joining the company.
Most recently Jeanne was responsible for the growth of a consulting practice in the Life Sciences arena focused on supporting companies with their sales, marketing and market growth strategies as well as advisory and board work. Prior to launching her company, Jeanne was a member of the Board and Chief Operating Officer of Median Technologies, where she was responsible for leading, implementing and driving the company’s global strategy.
Concurrently, Jeanne is Advisory Board Member for the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill Kenan-Flagler’s Business School Industry Health Council as well as is an active lecturer at the business school.
Earlier in her career, Jeanne held many senior roles at Iqvia (formerly Quintiles IMS Holdings, Inc.), an international company that provides biopharmaceutical development and commercial outsourcing services. She was a Member of the Quintiles Executive Committee, and President of the Quintiles WIN (Women in Networking) group. Prior to this, she held a number of leadership positions of increasing responsibility with the company. She also was Vice President of Marketing & Sales for Decision Biomarkers, Inc. and Regulatory Affairs Officer for the UNC Oncology Protocol Office.
Jeanne volunteers with Senior PharmAssist, a nonprofit group that provides medication access and medication therapy management to seniors in North Carolina. She further volunteers with Kids=Play, a nonprofit group building playgrounds for children with disabilities in Southern Virginia, and with Ronald McDonald House. She holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan and a Master of Business Administration from the university’s Ross School of Business. She earned a Certificate of Project Management from the Project Management Institute.
In her free time Jeanne enjoys spending time with her husband, playing with their dog, Scuba diving (she is a technical diver), playing tennis, reading, cooking and bird watching.
